UTMOST IV and its Competitors
Agilent (HP) ICCAP, ProPlus BSIMPro and BSIMProPlus, Synopsys Aurora, Accelicon MQA and Accelicon MBP
UTMOST IV is a high performance device characterization and device
modeling tool. UTMOST IV can be used in place of Agilent (HP) ICCAP, ProPlus BSIMPro and BSIMProPlus, Synopsys Aurora, Accelicon MQA and Accelicon MBP and provides the following key features:
- 64-bit relational database to provide secure, convenient data and
model storage and sharing
- Easy import of ICCAP (.mdm) and BSIMPro (.iv), ProPlus (.dat),
UTMOST IV (.uds), UTMOST III (.log) and ATLAS (.log) data formats.
- High speed link to SmartSpice simulator provides very fast
simulation speed
- Support for SmartSpice, hspice, spectre, pspice and eldo external
simulators
- Full macro-model support with no loss in simulation speed
- Fit module using JavaScript provides full automation and
customization
- Support for all technologies, including mosfet (MOS), bipolar (BJT), silicon on insulator (SOI), thin film transistor (TFT), diode (DIO), resistor (RES), capacitor (CAP), inductor (IND) and varactor
